How can I restrict who can access and submit my Poper Form?

You can control access from the Settings > Access section. This helps when a form should only be available to specific users, for a specific time, or up to a submission limit.

Step-by-step

  1. Open your form in the editor.

  2. Go to Settings tab.

  3. Open Access.

  4. Enable the restriction(s) you need:

    • Password protection

    • Close on a specific date

    • Close after a submission quota

    • Restrict by allowed email/domain

    • Limit one submission per visitor (IP/device-based)

  5. Save your changes.

  6. Open the share link in an incognito window and test your restrictions.

Recommended setup examples

  • Internal team form: Use password + company domain restriction.

  • Limited campaign form: Use close date + submission quota.

  • One-time response form: Enable one submission per visitor.

If visitors report access issues

  • Re-check timezone/date settings for close date.

  • Confirm allowed email/domain values are entered correctly.

  • Verify quota hasn’t already been reached.

  • Test again with a clean browser session.

If this format looks good, I’ll continue with the next two unique feature articles (for example: Hidden fields + URL parameter capture and Partial submissions + drop-off insights in Results).
