How can I organize Accordion widget questions into clear categories without overwhelming users?
The Accordion widget supports category-based grouping, and this is the highest-impact setup for usability. A good category structure reduces confusion and shortens time-to-answer.
This screenshot should show where categories are created and how each question is assigned to one category.
Open your Accordion widget and go to Content.
In Manage Categories, add only meaningful groups (for example: General, Billing, Technical, Security).
Assign each question to exactly one relevant category from the category dropdown.
Reorder questions so the most common concerns appear first within each category.
Remove unnecessary categories and merge overlapping ones.
Preview and check if a first-time visitor can find a key answer within a few seconds.
Use this setting when your FAQ looks complete but users still ask basic questions repeatedly.
Check this if the result does not look right:
If categories feel repetitive, combine similar ones.
If answers are hard to find, move high-frequency questions to the top.
If one category is too large, split it into clearer sub-topics.
