How can I let visitors stop animations with the Accessibility widget?

Enable Stop Animations if you want visitors to pause motion effects on your website from the Accessibility widget menu. This is helpful for visitors who are sensitive to moving content, repeated animations, delayed transitions, or animated page effects.

enabled in the tool list. Add one annotation: 1 Enable Stop Animations.

When a visitor turns this tool on, the widget removes CSS animations and transitions while that visitor is browsing. It can reduce effects such as pulsing elements, animated banners, motion-heavy sections, and smooth scrolling behavior.

Use this option when your website includes:

  • Animated hero sections or moving visual effects.

  • Auto-playing motion that may distract visitors.

  • Transitions that make the page feel too busy for some users.

  • Interactive elements with repeated hover or load animations.

The setting does not permanently change your website design for everyone. It only applies for the visitor who enables it from the Accessibility menu.

If a visitor still sees motion after enabling the tool, check whether the motion is coming from a video, GIF, iframe, or third-party embed. Those may need to be controlled separately by the original content or app.
