Integrating Poper with Shopify allows you to leverage powerful, e-commerce-specific features like cart-based logic, product targeting, and advanced conversion tools. To get started, you'll need to add the Poper script to your Shopify theme files.

Step 1: Get Your Custom Code from Poper

Log in to your Poper Dashboard.

Click on the Code option located in the left-hand navigation bar.

Get Custom Code

Under the Code section, select the "Custom Code" option.

Copy the provided code snippet to your clipboard.

Step 2: Add the Code to Your Shopify Theme

Log in to your Shopify Admin panel.

Navigate to Online Store > Themes.

Locate your current active theme and click the three dots (...) button, then select Edit code.

In the file search sidebar, look for the theme.liquid file (usually found under the "Layout" folder).

Scroll down to the bottom of the file and paste your Poper custom code just before the closing </body> tag.

Click Save in the top right corner.

Why use Poper on Shopify?

Once the script is installed, you aren't just limited to basic popups. You can now utilize Shopify-specific triggers to maximize your store's revenue:

  • Cart-Based Logic: Show specific offers when a user reaches a certain cart value or has specific items in their cart.

Troubleshooting Tip

If you have recently installed the script but don't see your popups appearing, ensure that you have published your campaign within the Poper dashboard and that your Shopify domain is correctly added to your Poper website settings.
