Poper allows you to create countdown timers that repeat automatically, which is perfect for daily deals, recurring events, or flash sales that end at the same time every day or week.

Here is how to set up a repeating countdown in your Poper campaign:

Access Your Poper Popup

Log in to your Poper dashboard and open the specific popup where you want to add the repeating countdown.

Select or Add Countdown Element

  • If your popup already has a countdown timer element, select it.

  • If not, use the "Add" tab in the editor to add a new countdown element to your popup.

Configure Fixed Date Expiry

  • In the left-hand settings panel for the countdown element, you must first set the initial expiry.

  • Select the "Fixed date" option.

  • Set the date and time for the first time you want the countdown to expire (e.g., set the date to today and the time to 5:00 PM).

Enable Repeat Countdown

  • Locate and turn on the "Repeat countdown" option. This toggle unlocks the repeating functionality.

Set the Repeat Interval

  • Once enabled, you will be prompted to select the number of days or hours to add once the current countdown has expired.

  • Example (Daily Repeat): To make the countdown repeat every day, you would enter 1 day. When the countdown hits 0 (e.g., on November 27th at 5:00 PM), it will automatically add 1 day and restart, expiring again on November 28th at 5:00 PM.

  • Example (Weekly Repeat): To make the countdown repeat every week on the same day, you would enter 7 days.

Save and Test

  • Save or update your popup to apply the changes.

  • Preview the popup to ensure the countdown is set correctly and the repeating logic is working as intended.

By using the repeating countdown feature, you can maintain a sense of urgency in your campaigns effortlessly, promoting ongoing or daily limited-time offers.
