Poper helps you maximize your lead capture by saving not just completed form submissions, but partial or incomplete responses as well. This ensures that you don’t lose valuable insights even if a user abandons the form before hitting “Submit.”

What is Partial Response Capture?

Partial Response Capture is a built-in feature in Poper that automatically saves the data users enter into your forms — even if they don’t complete and submit the form.

For example, if a user starts typing their name and email but leaves the page or closes the popup before submitting — Poper will still store that data for you.

Do I Need to Enable It?

No setup required!
This feature is enabled by default for all forms created using Poper. You don’t need to manually activate it.

Where to View Partial Responses

By default, your Leads page only shows Completed form submissions. To access partially filled responses:

Go to the Leads section in your Poper dashboard.

Click on the Incomplete tab at the top right.

You’ll now see all the responses that users started filling but did not fully submit.

These entries may include partial details like just an email, or a combination of a few filled fields.

🧠 Why This Matters

Partial responses give you:

  • More visibility into user intent

  • Opportunities to follow up (e.g., if an email was entered)

  • A better understanding of form drop-off points

You can use this data to refine your campaigns, tweak form fields, or re-engage leads.

If you have any questions or need help analyzing your partial responses, feel free to contact our support team from within your dashboard.
