Protecting your Poper forms from spam and bot submissions is crucial for maintaining data integrity and ensuring a positive user experience. Google reCAPTCHA offers a robust solution to achieve this.

Here's a step-by-step guide to integrate Google reCAPTCHA validation into your Poper popups:

1. Configure reCAPTCHA Keys in Poper:

Access Poper Dashboard: Log in to your Poper account and navigate to the main dashboard.

Open Websites Settings: Click on the "Websites" icon in the left-hand navigation menu.

Edit Domain: Locate the domain for which you want to enable reCAPTCHA and click the three dots to open the domain's edit options.

2. Create a Google reCAPTCHA:

Navigate to Google reCAPTCHA: Open the Google reCAPTCHA website: https://www.google.com/recaptcha.

Create a New reCAPTCHA: Click on "v3 Admin Console" or "Admin Console" to create a new reCAPTCHA.

Select reCAPTCHA v2: Choose "reCAPTCHA v2" as the reCAPTCHA type.

Choose Invisible reCAPTCHA: Select "Invisible reCAPTCHA badge" to validate requests in the background without requiring user interaction.

Add Domain Name: Enter your website's domain name exactly as it appears in your Poper settings. Ensure there are no typos or inconsistencies, as this will prevent reCAPTCHA from functioning correctly.

Save reCAPTCHA: Click the "Submit" or "Save" button to create the reCAPTCHA.

Copy Site Key and Secret Key: Google will display the "Site Key" and "Secret Key." Copy these keys.

3. Paste reCAPTCHA Keys into Poper:

Return to Poper: Go back to the Poper domain edit page.

Paste Keys: Paste the copied "Site Key" and "Secret Key" into the corresponding fields in Poper.

Save Changes: Save the changes to your domain settings in Poper.

4. Enable reCAPTCHA in Your Popup:

Open Popup Editor: Open the Poper popup where you want to enable reCAPTCHA validation.

Navigate to Final Steps: Go to the "Final Steps" section of the popup editor.

Enable reCAPTCHA: Scroll down and locate the option to enable reCAPTCHA. Toggle the option to enable it.

Save Popup: Save the changes to your popup.

5. Test reCAPTCHA Validation:

Preview Popup: Preview the popup on your website.

Submit Form: Submit the form within the popup.

Verify Validation: Poper will automatically validate the submission using Google reCAPTCHA. If the validation is successful, the form will be submitted. If not, the submission will be blocked.

By following these steps, you can effectively implement Google reCAPTCHA validation in your Poper popups, protecting your forms from spam and ensuring a secure user experience.
