Poper empowers you to track user interactions within your popups by marking specific actions as conversions. This guide will show you how to designate button clicks as conversions.
Steps to Track Button Clicks as Conversions:
Access Your Poper Popup:
Log in to your Poper dashboard and open the specific popup you want to modify.
Select the Button or Element:
Identify the button or other element within your popup that you want to track as a conversion.
Find the "Count as Conversion" Setting:
In the left-hand side settings panel for the selected element, locate the option labeled "Count as Conversion" or similar. This setting is usually a toggle switch that can be turned on or off.
Enable Conversion Tracking:
Toggle the "Count as Conversion" setting to the "on" position. This indicates that clicking on this element will be registered as a conversion within Poper's analytics.
Save Your Changes:
Once you've enabled the "Count as Conversion" setting, click the "Save" or "Update" button to apply the changes to your popup.
Understanding Conversion Tracking:
Single Conversion per Popup:
Poper currently allows for a maximum of one conversion to be tracked per popup. If you have multiple buttons or elements with the "Count as Conversion" setting enabled, only the first completed action will be registered as a conversion.
Action-Based Tracking:
The conversion is counted when the user performs the specified action on the element (e.g., clicking the button).
By following these steps, you can effectively track user interactions and measure the success of your Poper popups.
Note: Poper's conversion tracking functionality might be subject to change or have additional features. Always refer to the latest Poper documentation for the most up-to-date information.
