How can I connect Slack and show my community feed on my website?
You can connect your Slack workspace to Poper and display channel activity as a live website feed widget. The setup takes a few steps: connect Slack, configure widget behavior, preview, and publish.

This screenshot should show where users start the Slack connection flow.
Step 1: Create or open a Slack Community Feed widget
Go to your widgets in Poper.
Create a new Slack Community Feed widget, or open an existing one.
Save the widget once before connecting Slack (recommended for smoother OAuth mapping).
Step 2: Connect your Slack workspace
Click Connect Slack.
A Slack authorization window opens.
Choose your workspace and click Allow.
Return to Poper and confirm the connection status is successful.
This screenshot should show both the authorization action and the successful connected state.
Step 4: Publish and embed
Click Update/Publish in Poper.
Copy your embed code or install via your preferred method.
Add it to your website page.
Verify that Slack feed content appears correctly on the live page.
Notes for teams and admins
Slack OAuth access is required to fetch channel data.
Access can be disconnected at any time from widget settings.
If your team rotates credentials or app settings, reconnect Slack if feed syncing stops.
Troubleshooting quick checks
If feed sync is not working as expected:
Confirm the widget is still connected to Slack.
Re-run the search/sync action in widget settings.
Ensure the widget is updated after configuration changes.
Disconnect and reconnect Slack if token access has changed.
contacting support.
Privacy and compliance
Poper uses the permissions approved during Slack OAuth to fetch allowed workspace/channel data for rendering the widget.
