A PDF import replaces the whole book with converted pages. Remove the PDF in Content to get Front Page, Book Pages, and Final Page back.

That is expected. In Content, Import from PDF is built so PDF pages replace the whole flipbook. After a successful import, the separate Front Page, Book Pages, and Final Page editors are not used—the book is driven only by the PDF pages.

My PDF upload fails or says the file is too large

  • Only real PDF files are accepted.

  • Maximum size is 20 MB. Smaller files or compressing the PDF usually fixes this.

My flipbook has extra pages compared to my PDF file

Very wide PDF pages are sometimes split into two flip pages (spread split). A success message may say how many wide pages were split.

I need to edit the cover and individual pages again

  1. Open Content.

  2. Find the imported PDF row and remove it (trash).

  3. Front Page, Add Page / Book Pages, and Final Page come back.
