Why does my World Clock display look different between desktop and mobile, and how can I fix it?

World Clock layouts can feel very different on mobile due to spacing and density changes. A layout that looks perfect on desktop can become crowded on phones.

This screenshot should show the same widget in two view modes for comparison.

  1. Switch between desktop and mobile preview while editing.

  2. If mobile feels crowded, move to a cleaner layout:

    • Global List

    • Digital Strip

    • Card Stack

  3. Reduce visual load:

    • Disable Show Seconds

    • Simplify city list to essential locations

  4. Keep labels short and meaningful.

  5. Verify final readability on an actual phone if possible.

Use this setting when your World Clock is usable on desktop but not practical on mobile screens.

Check this if the result does not look right:

  • If text wraps too much, reduce city count and label length.

  • If layout feels cramped, switch away from map-heavy or dense visual styles.

  • If users need fast glanceability, prioritize list/digital layouts over decorative ones.
