How can I pick the right Progress Bar widget template for my use case?

The Progress Bar widget includes multiple templates (like Simple, Circular Ring, Half Circle, Multi-Step, Segmented, Dotted, Distribution, and Vertical List). Choosing the right one first helps your progress data look clear instead of cluttered.

This screenshot should show where template cards are selected and how the preview changes instantly.

  1. Open your Progress Bar widget in the editor.

  2. Go to the Templates tab.

  3. Try these quick rules:

    • Simple / Segmented / Dotted for compact horizontal progress

    • Circular Ring / Half Circle for dashboard-style visual emphasis

    • Multi-Step / Vertical List for step-by-step workflows

    • Distribution when you want to compare parts of a total

  4. After selecting a template, review your labels and percentages in preview.

  5. If text looks crowded, reduce item count or switch to a more spacious template.

Use this setting when your progress data is correct, but the visual format does not match the story you want to tell.

Check this if the result does not look right:

  • If cards feel crowded, move from Circular/Half Circle to Simple or Vertical List.

  • If a process feels unclear, use Multi-Step instead of generic bars.

  • If total contribution matters most, use Distribution.
