Why does the Job Board widget show different details on cards vs the popup?

Written by Karan Bhakuni

Control exactly what appears on the job cards and what appears after clicking Details so users see the right information at each step.

The widget uses two separate visibility controls: one for cards and one for the popup. This is useful, but it can look inconsistent if both sections are not configured together.

This screenshot should show both setting groups so users understand that card and popup content are managed separately.

  1. Open the widget and go to Templates.

  2. Expand Card Visibility and decide what to show on each card:

    • Salary, Company, Location, Department

    • Description, Skills

    • Cover Image, Logo

    • Apply Button, Details Button

  3. Expand Popup Content and choose what should appear after a user opens the job popup:

    • Company, Location, Salary, Department

    • Contract Type, Description, Skills

  4. Preview by clicking a job card and opening the details popup.

  5. Align both sections so card info and popup info follow the same content strategy.

Use this setting when users say “I can see this on the card but not in the popup” (or the opposite).

Check this if the result does not look right:

  • If the popup feels too empty, enable key fields in Popup Content.

  • If cards feel too busy, disable non-essential fields in Card Visibility.

  • Keep summary info on cards and full context in popup for best readability.
