How can I use animation in the Button widget without distracting visitors?
Use animation when the Button widget needs a little extra attention, such as for a limited offer, signup action, or important contact button. Keep the movement subtle so the button helps visitors instead of distracting them.
Choose when the animation should run
Open Appearance > Animation & Effects. Select the animation style first, then choose the trigger.
On Load runs once when the button appears. Use this for a gentle entrance effect.
On Hover runs when visitors move over the button. Use this when you want feedback without constant motion.
Constant repeats the animation. Use this only for high-priority buttons because repeated motion can feel busy.
Set duration and delay carefully
Use Duration to control how long the animation takes. Use Delay to add space before the animation starts or repeats. Short, smooth animation usually feels more polished than fast shaking or constant movement.
What to check before keeping an animation
Preview the button on desktop and mobile sizes.
Avoid strong repeated animation on pages that already have moving content.
If the button is floating, use animation sparingly so it does not cover or distract from page content.
If the animation makes the button hard to read, reduce the effect or switch the trigger to On Hover.
