How can visitors add Appointment Booking widget appointments to Google Calendar?
After a visitor completes a booking, the Appointment Booking widget shows a confirmation screen. From there, the visitor can use Add to Google Calendar to save the appointment to their own calendar.
This screenshot should show the final confirmation screen after a successful booking.
How the calendar event is created
The calendar event uses the selected service name, appointment date, start time, and service duration. The end time is calculated from the duration you set for the service.
What visitors need to complete first
Visitors must select a service, date, and time, then enter a valid email address before they can confirm the booking. After confirmation, the calendar option appears on the success screen.
Why the service duration matters
If the service duration is 30 minutes, the calendar event is created for a 30-minute appointment. If the service duration is 60 minutes, the calendar event lasts one hour. Make sure your service duration matches the real appointment length.
Use a clear service name because it becomes the calendar event title.
Set the correct duration before publishing the widget.
Ask visitors to use the calendar button if they often forget appointment times.
If the calendar time looks wrong, review the widget timezone in Availability.
