How can I send appointment reminders in the Appointment Booking widget?

Use Appointment Reminders when you want visitors to receive a reminder before their booking time. This helps reduce missed appointments, especially for consultations, demos, classes, and service appointments.

This screenshot should show the reminder toggle and the reminder timing dropdown.

Turn on appointment reminders

Open the Content tab, then open Notifications. Turn on Appointment Reminders.

Choose when the reminder should send

Use the Send reminder dropdown to choose the timing. The available options are 15 minutes before, 30 minutes before, 1 hour before, or 24 hours before the appointment.

Pick a timing that matches the appointment type

Short online calls usually work well with a 15-minute or 30-minute reminder. In-person services often need a longer reminder, such as 1 hour or 24 hours before, so visitors have time to travel or prepare.

  • Use 15 minutes before for quick online calls.

  • Use 1 hour before for appointments where visitors need preparation time.

  • Use 24 hours before for high-value or in-person appointments.

  • Keep reminders on when missed appointments create scheduling problems for your team.
