How can I add breaks or split hours in the Appointment Booking widget?

Use the Weekly Schedule section when your business is open in separate blocks, such as morning appointments, a lunch break, and afternoon appointments. Instead of making one long day available, add more than one hours block for the same day.

Set the first working block

Open Availability, then open Weekly Schedule. Find the day you want to edit and make sure the day is marked Open. Set the first start and end time for when bookings should be available.

Add another block after the break

Click Add Hours for the same day. Add the next start and end time after the break. For example, you can set Monday to 09:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:00 so visitors cannot choose a time during lunch.

Check the preview slots

After changing the schedule, use the preview to check the available times. The Appointment Booking widget creates slots based on your open blocks and the selected service duration.

  • Use split hours for lunch breaks, staff gaps, cleaning time, or different morning and evening availability.

  • If a day should not accept bookings, turn that day off instead of deleting every time block.

  • Make sure your service duration fits inside each block, or fewer time slots will appear.
