How can I make the DPDP Consent widget show as a full-width banner?

Use the Simple Banner template when the DPDP Consent widget should behave like a site-wide notice across the full screen. This is best for a clear DPDP compliance message that visitors should see without opening a popup or corner card.

DPDP Consent widget Simple Banner template setting

1 Template is where you choose Simple Banner. 2 Preview helps you confirm the banner stretches across the page instead of appearing as a floating card.

Choose Simple Banner

Open Text Menu, then open Template. Select Simple Banner. This layout spans the full width of the browser and places the icon, message, policy link, and acknowledge button in one horizontal banner.

Place it at the top or bottom

After choosing Simple Banner, open Style Menu and then Position. Simple Banner supports Top and Bottom positions. Use Top when the DPDP notice should be seen before the rest of the page. Use Bottom when you want the notice visible but less intrusive.

Control how wide the text row feels

The banner itself uses the full screen width. The Content Width setting controls how wide the inner message row can grow inside that banner. Increase it when the message feels cramped on wide screens. Reduce it when you want the text and buttons to stay closer together.

  • Use Simple Banner for a compliance notice that should feel site-wide.

  • Check both desktop and mobile preview after changing the template.

  • If the widget is placed inside a narrow page container, the website layout can still limit the visible area around it.
