The Weather widget can show preview data while you are designing it. To make it use real weather on your website, add and save an OpenWeatherMap API key in the widget settings.
What to notice in the screenshot
OpenWeatherMap API Key: Paste the API key here.
Save: Click this after adding the key so Poper can connect it.
Connect live weather data
Open the Content tab and find API Connectors. Paste your OpenWeatherMap API key, then click Save.
After the key is saved, the widget can request live weather for the location you choose in Locations & Cities.
If the widget still looks like demo data
Make sure the API key was saved and shows as connected.
Check that the city name is spelled correctly if you use a specific city.
For visitor-based weather, test from a browser where location access is available.
Update the widget after changing the key or location settings.
If the key is missing, invalid, or not saved, the Weather widget may continue to show preview values while you configure the design.
