Troubleshooting Payment Link Issues within Integrated Platforms (BigCommerce, Wix, Shopify, etc.)

When using Poper inside platforms like BigCommerce, Wix, or Shopify, the link to the payment or upgrade page might occasionally fail to open due to restrictions imposed by your web browser's security settings.

These platforms sometimes load Poper within an iframe, which can trigger strict popup blockers.

If you encounter issues clicking an "Upgrade" or "Payment" link that doesn't open, follow these steps to adjust your browser's settings:

Identify the Browser Toolbar:

  • Look at your browser's address bar - the area where you type the website URL.

Access Site Information/Settings:

  • Look for a small icon near the address bar. This is often a lock icon (Lock - indicating a secure connection), an 'i' (for information), or a gear icon.

  • Click on this icon to view the Site Information or Site Settings panel for the current page.

Check Popups and Redirects Setting:

  • Within the Site Information panel, look for a section or toggle specifically related to "Popups and Redirects."

  • Check the current status of this setting.

Enable Popups and Redirects:

  • If the "Popups and Redirects" setting is currently set to "Blocked," "Ask," or "Off," change it to "Allowed" or "On."

  • This action tells your browser to allow pop-up windows and redirects from the current platform.

Re-attempt the Payment Link:

  • Once you've changed the setting, try clicking the upgrade or payment link in Poper again.

If the issue persists:

If you have allowed popups and redirects for the site but the payment link still fails to open, there may be another restriction or configuration issue.
