Poper's integration with Mailmodo, a powerful email marketing platform, allows you to effortlessly add subscribers to your Mailmodo lists directly through your Poper popups. This guide will walk you through connecting Poper and Mailmodo, ensuring leads captured through your popups are automatically added to your chosen Mailmodo lists.
Prerequisites
A Poper account with an active popup campaign.
A Mailmodo account.
An API key for your Mailmodo account. (You can find your API key by navigating to Settings > API Keys within your Mailmodo account.)
Setting Up the Poper and Mailmodo Integration
Access Your Poper Popup
Log in to your Poper dashboard and navigate to the specific popup you want to integrate with Mailmodo.
Open the Integrations Tab
On the left side of the popup editor, locate the "Integrations" tab and click on it.
Select Mailmodo Integration
From the list of available integrations, choose "Mailmodo."
Name Your Connection
Provide a clear name for your Mailmodo connection (e.g., Mailmodo Leads). This will help you identify it later.
Enter Your Mailmodo API Key
In the designated field, paste your Mailmodo API key that you obtained from your Mailmodo account settings.
Click "Next." Once you've entered your API key, click the "Next" button to proceed.
Select Mailmodo List
Poper will load a list of all the (mailing lists) present in your Mailmodo account. Choose the specific list where you want to add subscribers captured through your Poper popup.
Map Poper Fields to Mailmodo
This step allows you to match the data fields collected in your Poper popup form with the corresponding fields in your Mailmodo group. Use the dropdown menus to map each Poper field (e.g., email, name) to the appropriate Mailmodo field.
Add Custom Fields (Optional)
If your Mailmodo group has custom fields, you can utilize this section to define how Poper should populate those fields with data captured in your popup form.
Click "Connect." After completing the field mapping (and any custom field definitions), click the "Connect" button to establish the integration between Poper and Mailmodo.
Test the Integration
To verify the functionality of the integration, send a dummy response from your popup. This will send a request to Mailmodo, simulating a subscriber signup. Check your Mailmodo account to confirm that the test subscriber was successfully added to the chosen group.
