Poper allows you to precisely control who sees your popups by targeting specific IP addresses. This feature is useful for testing, internal campaigns, or limiting popup visibility to certain users.

Steps to Set Up IP Targeting:

Access Your Poper Popup:

Log in to your Poper dashboard and open the specific popup you want to modify.

Navigate to Display Conditions:

In the popup editor, locate the "Display Conditions" tab on the left side.

Open the "Audience" Tab:

Within the "Display Conditions" section, click on the "Audience" tab.

Enable IP Targeting:

Find the "IP" option and enable it.

Add IP Rules:

You can add multiple IP rules to show or hide the popup for specific IP addresses:

  • Show Popup for Specific IP: Select "Show Popup" and enter the IP address you want to target. The popup will only be displayed to visitors with this IP address.

  • Hide Popup for Specific IP: Select "Hide Popup" and enter the IP address you want to exclude. The popup will not be displayed to visitors with this IP address.

Check Your IP:

To easily obtain your current IP address, use the "Check IP" button provided within the IP targeting section. This will display your IP address, which you can then copy and paste into the IP rule.

Save and Test:

Once you've configured the IP targeting rules, click the "Add Rule" button to apply the changes. Test your popup from different IP addresses to verify that the targeting works as expected.

Additional Tips:

  • Combine IP Targeting with Other Rules: You can combine IP targeting with other targeting rules, such as device type, browser, or user behavior, to create more complex targeting scenarios.

  • Test Thoroughly: After setting up IP targeting, test your popup from different IP addresses to ensure it behaves as expected.

By effectively using IP targeting, you can fine-tune your popup's visibility and tailor it to specific audiences, enhancing your marketing campaigns and improving user experience.
