Poper allows you to precisely control where your popups appear on your website. This guide will walk you through the process of displaying or hiding popups on specific pages using the page filtering feature.
Setting Up Page-Specific Popup Display:
Access Your Poper Popup:
Log in to your Poper dashboard and open the specific popup you want to modify.
Navigate to Display Conditions > Pages:
On the left side of the popup editor, locate the "Display Conditions" > "Pages" tab and click on it. This section allows you to define who sees your popup.
Enable Page Targeting:
Within the "Audience Filtering" section, find the option labeled "Page Targeting" or similar. Toggle this option "on" to activate page-specific display rules.
Add Show/Hide Rules:
Once page filtering is enabled, you'll see options to add rules for showing or hiding the popup on specific pages.
Show Popup on Specific Pages:
Enter the URL or URL pattern of the pages where you want the popup to appear.
For example, entering "/blog" will display the popup on all pages containing "/blog" in their URL. You can use wildcards like "*" for partial matches. More info on Wildcards here - https://help.poper.ai/portal/en/kb/articles/using-wildcards-in-page-targeting
Hide Popup on Specific Pages:
Similarly, click the "Hide" option to specify pages where you want the popup to be hidden.
Click on Add Rule:
Click on Add Rule button to apply the rule.
Create Multiple Rules:
You can add multiple rules for both showing and hiding the popup. This allows for more granular control over popup visibility.
Save and Test:
Once you've defined your page filtering rules, click the "Save" or "Update" button to apply the changes. It's essential to test the popup on different pages to ensure it appears or disappears as expected.
By effectively utilizing Poper's page filtering feature, you can strategically display your popups on relevant pages, enhancing the user experience and improving the overall effectiveness of your campaigns.
