This guide will show you how to integrate Poper, your drag-and-drop popup builder, with Mailjet, a user-friendly email marketing platform. This integration allows you to effortlessly add leads captured through your Poper popups directly to your chosen Mailjet contact list, simplifying your email marketing efforts.

Benefits of Integration:

  • Automated List Building: Expand your email subscriber base automatically by adding leads captured through your popups to your Mailjet list.

  • Targeted Campaigns: Leverage Mailjet's segmentation features to create targeted email marketing campaigns based on the data captured in your popups.

  • Improved Engagement: Send timely and relevant email marketing messages to nurture leads and convert them into paying customers.

Prerequisites:

  • A Poper account with an active popup campaign.

  • A Mailjet account with an API key and API secret, and a designated contact list for your leads.

Steps:

Access Your Poper Popup:

Log in to your Poper dashboard and navigate to the specific popup you want to integrate with Mailjet.

Open the Integrations Menu:

On the left-hand side navigation bar, locate the "Integrations" tab (represented by a link icon) and click on it.

Find the Mailjet Integration:

Within the search bar of the integrations menu, type in "Mailjet" and select the option that corresponds with the Mailjet logo.

Name Your Integration and Connect to Mailjet:

Provide a clear and descriptive name for your integration (e.g., "Poper Leads to Mailjet"). Then, you'll need to enter your Mailjet API key and API secret. You can find these credentials within your Mailjet account settings. Once you've entered both keys, click "Next" to continue.

Select Your Contact List:

If the connection is established successfully, you'll be presented with a list of your Mailjet contact lists. Choose the specific list where you want to add leads captured through your Poper popups.Click "Next" to proceed.

Map Your Popup Fields:

You'll now see a mapping screen. Here, you'll need to match the data points captured by your Poper popup form fields with the corresponding contact information fields in Mailjet. Use the dropdown menus to select the appropriate platform key (Mailjet field) for each input field in your popup (e.g., email address for Mailjet's "Email" field).

Add Custom Fields (Optional):

If your Poper popup captures data that doesn't have a direct equivalent in Mailjet's standard contact information fields, you can add custom fields. Click the "Add Another Attribute" button and define the custom field name in Mailjet to match the corresponding field in your Poper form.

Complete the Integration:

Once you've finished mapping all the fields, click the "Connect" button. If the configuration is successful, you'll see a confirmation message indicating a successful integration.

Test the Integration:

To ensure everything works as expected, submit a test lead through your Poper popup. The data from the test lead should appear in your chosen Mailjet contact list within a short period.

Congratulations! You've successfully integrated Poper with Mailjet. Now, all leads captured through your Poper popups will be automatically added to your designated Mailjet contact list, allowing you to effortlessly reach them with targeted email marketing campaigns.

Additional Tips:

  • Ensure the field names and data types in your Poper popup form match the corresponding contact information fields in Mailjet for seamless data transfer.

  • Regularly review and update your integration settings, especially if you make changes to your popup form fields or Mailjet contact list.

  • Explore Mailjet's resources to learn how to create effective email marketing campaigns that resonate with your leads captured through Poper popups.

By following these steps, you can bridge the gap between your lead capture efforts and your email marketing platform, allowing you to nurture leads and grow your business.
