Poper's integration with Mailvio, a powerful email marketing platform, allows you to effortlessly add subscribers to your Mailvio lists directly through your Poper popups. This guide will walk you through connecting Poper and Mailvio, ensuring leads captured through your popups are automatically added to your chosen Mailvio lists.
Prerequisites
A Poper account with an active popup campaign.
A Mailvio account.
An API key for your Mailvio account. (You can find your API key by navigating to Profile > Integrations > API Keys within your Mailvio account.)
Setting Up the Poper and Mailvio Integration
Access Your Poper Popup
Log in to your Poper dashboard and navigate to the specific popup you want to integrate with Mailvio.
Open the Integrations Tab
On the left side of the popup editor, locate the "Integrations" tab and click on it.
Select Mailvio Integration
From the list of available integrations, choose "Mailvio."
Name Your Connection
Provide a clear name for your Mailvio connection (e.g., Mailvio Leads). This will help you identify it later.
Enter Your Mailvio API Key
In the designated field, paste your Mailvio API key that you obtained from your Mailvio account settings.
Ensure that your key has been Enabled and Write permissions in allowed in mailvio.
Click "Next." Once you've entered your API key, click the "Next" button to proceed.
Select Mailvio Group
Mailvio will load a list of all the groups (mailing lists) present in your Mailvio account. Choose the specific group where you want to add subscribers captured through your Poper popup.
Map Poper Fields to Mailvio
This step allows you to match the data fields collected in your Poper popup form with the corresponding fields in your Mailvio group. Use the dropdown menus to map each Poper field (e.g., email, name) to the appropriate Mailvio field.
Add Custom Fields (Optional)
If your Mailvio group has custom fields, you can utilize this section to define how Poper should populate those fields with data captured in your popup form.
Click "Connect." After completing the field mapping (and any custom field definitions), click the "Connect" button to establish the integration between Poper and Mailvio.
Test the Integration
To verify the functionality of the integration, send a dummy response from your popup. This will send a request to Mailvio, simulating a subscriber signup. Check your Mailvio account to confirm that the test subscriber was successfully added to the chosen group.
